[Etude House] Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color (PK002 & OR202) Review

Hello ^-^! I'm back with another review! This time it's from Etude House's newest collection~ the "Sweet Recipe" collection... I seriously want to buy EVERYTHING OMG...

This time I'll write about their "Cupcake All Over Color" which is a product that can be used as an eyeshadow, cream blush or lip color~

There are 5 colors in total (I want to buy them all but I went with the safest ones first lol)

Official  Etude House pic:

I bought PK002 ("Strawberry Chiffon") and OR202 ("Peach Sugar")

Look at the packaging~ it's so cute! ;u;

The package desing is so pretty, I just couldn't resist lol

Let's see how they look like.. (PK002 on the left and OR202 on the right)

Such pretty colors! (PK002 is a little less "blue-ish" in real life tho) *-* They don't looks as creamy as in the promotional pictures though... however, I think that if you mix it (or whip it idk lol) they would get that creamy texture~ They may look like lipbalms but they remind me more of cream blushes or sheer lipsticks (it's hard to describe lol)

Spread on my hand~

Overall... as eyeshadows they look really pretty and are easy to spread. As cream blushes these are perfect too, easy to spread on the cheeks as well. And finally, as lip colors, these may be a little too light for my lips (however, my lips are very pigmented...) but they still look pretty! These might not be moistiruzing so you may want to put on some lipbalm too~ These also have a faint sweet smell, it's not a strong smell so it won't get annoying.
These seem to be durable (the average durability of 3-4 hours, but it depends on every person!)

Pros:
-Pretty colors!
-They smell so good =u=
-Cutest packaging ever
-Multi-functional
-Cheap price ($9)

Contras:
-As lip products, they may dry the lips a little (kinda like tints)

Should you buy it?: Yes. I totally recommend these, even if they don't perform perfectly as lip products, as eyeshadows/cream blushes these work really well. The colors are really pretty too and since they're sheer, you can build them up from a subtle hint of color to a more dramatic look (so don't be afraid of the orange/red ones!) Also, for only $9, you can get a multi functional product with great packaging! I'm really happy with these and I'm planning on buying the other 3 :)

Onew - peach
Jonghyun - Grape fruit
Key - Fashion (?) fruit (not so sure about this one.... maybe it's passion fruit :D?)
Minho - Cherry
Taemin - Guava (guayaba? ._.)

I bought Minho's and Onew's lipbalms :) (but I want them all!)

Close up of the packaging (it's so pretty!) onew's color on the left and minho's on the right

I bought minho's lipbalm a long time ago hehehe~

Close up!

As you guys can see, the colors are really vibrant and pretty! and I really like the fragrances too. They have a slight tint that gives a nice pop of color to the lips, really subtle but still noticeable

Both lipbalms apread on my hand~ from top to bottom: Onew's - Minho's

Overall I'm really happy with this product, it's really moisturizing, the colors are super pretty!, they smell GREAT and the packaging is so cute! also, they cost a reazonable price on ebay ( $10 aprox ) <3

Pros:
- 5 colors to choose from
- Super cute packaging!
- Nice and subtle smell
- They have some tint which is nice
- Good price
- If you use it all, you get to see the chosen shinee member's signature at the bottom! (not shown since I haven't used them all the way yet lol)
- Nice thing to buy if you're a shawol like me lol

Contras:
- Some people don't like applying lipbalm using their fingers...
- If you want something with a strong tint

Should you buy it?
I'd say... go for it! It really jelps when my lips are dry and chapped, it also gives a nice hint of color and moisture, besides, the price is really cheap for such good quality product :)! Recommended!

[Etude House] Happy Fresh Foam Review

Hi again! someone asked me on tumblr if I had any korean skincare products and I actually do so I'll review one of my favorite things ever (seriously, I can't go back to the days I didn't use this...)

Etude house's Happy fresh foam :D there are 5 different types to choose from depending on your skin type...

Official pic:

From left to right: Collagen - Hyaluronic acid - Vitamin C - Witch Hazel - White Clay
Just as it says on the pic, the first 3 ones are meant to be used if you have dry skin and the other 2 are meant to be used on oily skin.
The first 2 moisturize and nourish the skin, while the third one brightens the skin, the last 2 should clean your pores and get rid of oil, I'm not a 100% sure but I think that the white clay one is a little more "agressive" to the skin...

I own the "Witch Hazel" version since I have oily skin (not too much but still oily)

It comes in a squeeze tube, it's pretty large si you get a fair amount of the product (it doesn't come in a box, it comes sealed with plastic)

It's really easy to squeeze the right amount

This is the amount that I use for my entire face!

It has little "beads" (I can barely feel them when I rub my face though)

So yeah... about the consistency... it's really creamy and smooth, I usually wet my face first and then apply it (it gets foamy :D) then I rub my face for a while (avoiding the eye area) and I wash it off, after I use this, my face feels SO CLEAN (yet not dry or tight!) It also has such a nice smell <3 one of my favorite make up smells ever lol
Since I started using this (like 2 months ago), my face has less black heads, less blemishes, and it just feels cleaner :)
However! I don't use it as a make up remover! (I use a Biotherm make up remover first and then this)
I think this product is to give that final cleansing your skin needs to get a completely clean fresh face *u*

Pros:
- Cheap (like $8-$10 on ebay!)
- Relatively large tube, it should last for a while!
- Awesome sweet smell (seriously ;u;)
- 5 different options for all skin types

Contras:
- I haven't seen samples of this in case you want to try it first

Should you buy it?
Even if there are no samples, I'd still recommend buying the large tube right away, since you can get it for like $8, it's a really good deal! besides, if you know your skin type well, you can choose the right one for you before buying.
For me, this has been one of my best purchases ever, I absolutely LOVE this product and I use it everyday :) so yeah, if you want a good (and cheap) cleanser, this may be the product for you~

[Etude House] Lovely Cookie Blusher Review

Hi :D
I'm back with another make up review... this time it's the lovely cookie blusher from EH
I own 3 colors (#2, #3 and #5 )

There is a total of 7 different colors to choose from! (3 of them have shimmer #3, #4 and #7, the others are matte)

Official EH pic :)

And The 3 I own...from left to right... #2, #3 and #5

They don't come in a box, but they come sealed with a sticker :)

How they look open:

And the back...

And they come with the cutest puff ever ;u;

How the blushes look spread on my hand (my face is too ugly and I have freckles so the color doesn't show up clearly OTL) from top to bottom: #2 , #5 and #3

About the consistency... they're chalky and suited for oily skin, the lightest colors I own(#2 and #5) are meant for really pale people! as they're super light... #3 has shimmer on it, it's really subtle though and it adds a nice glow to your cheeks!
They're not long lasting though... 3 hours and they fade from my cheeks... but they're very durable (I've had #2 for almost a year!)
The puff is nice but I prefer to use a blush brush instead ^^ it's a personal preference thing, but the puff is just fine too!

Pros:
- Reasonable price for a good amount of product
- Good range of colors
- Perfect for oily skin
- Easy to spread

Contras:
- Not long lasting u.u
- The lightest colors only show up in super pale skin (so not everyone can use them..)

Should you buy it?:
Yes! I totally recommend these! the colors are super pretty, they're cheap and the presentation is so cute ;u;. Besides, they're good for oil control and these didn't cause me to break out or anything like that :)

Online Shopping #1: Korean make-up on Ebay

Hi! this is the first post from a series I want to start, called "Online shopping" where I'll basically write about my experiences with various websites :)

So... this one is about buying make up on ebay... korean make up :P now, we all know that there's a bootleg version of everything, and that scams are a big risk when it comes to online shopping..

But luckily for you (lol) I took the risk and started buying stuff from various ebay sellers, hoping for the best...

Most of the time, I got my stuff ... sometimes I didn't...

After all this time I can finally write a list of reliable sellers who sell only original things, and they use resistant packaging too (that's an important thing if you live far from korea like me!)

So yeah... let's get down to the list..
(Click to open their ebay shop!)

They're by far, my favorite korean make up sellers on ebay, original sealed products, good packaging and samples :D

I hope this helps you guys :D

If you have any questions you can write a comment here or you can message me on tumblr :)

[Next time I'll talk about my fave korean stationery sellers :)]

bye~

[Etude House] Nymph Aura Volumer Review (#3)

Hi :D
Another review, this time, one of my favorite things ever (really *-* ) I just can't go back to those days when I didn't use this...

but what is it exactly?

Nymph Aura Volumer

The Nymph Aura Volumer is some kind of oily cream that you mix with your bb cream (1/3 volumer and 2/3
bb cream) to get a dewy, shiny finish, which I think looks more natural than a matte face (but that's just myopinion of course..) There are 3 types, the first 2 ones have a light pink tint, the 3rd one is clear ^^

A pump! and it works really well :)

I have oily / combination skin, and this doesn't feel like I'm clogging my pores or like I just soaked my face in oil (lol) really...it's up to how much you mix with your bb cream.. and you can always reduce the shiny effect with powder ^^ I also find it very suitable for winter since my skin feels dry with the cold air :)

It looks pink but is clear/transparent..

Let's spread it... yeah..it looks shimmery but it has no shimmer.. it's only shiny :D

Overall: I absolutely LOVE this product! of course, it depends on how you want your skin to look, dewy or matte.. or if you have really oily skin and you don't want more shine.. then it's not the best thing for you..

Pros:
- It makes my skin glow :)
- Keeps the face mosturized (my face tends to get really dry in some areas during the day but when I use this it doesn't happen)
- You just need a little amount to cover your entire face

Contras:
- A little expensive
- If your skin is really really oily, it may not the best option for a dewy finish...

Should you buy it ?

It depends, do you prefer looking matte or dewy? Is your skin super oily? Or maybe some highlighting is enough for you? If you want a dewy finish and you don't have a problem with adding a little oil to your face (the volumer is not like pure oil, but it's a little bit oily..) it may be worth the try... there are samples of this product available on ebay in case you're not sure ^^

[Etude House] Precious mineral SUN BB cream review

Hi! this is my first review :) so I'll write a little about how I do things etc.

[♥ Before I write a review, I use the products a few times so I can have a better and realistic opinion!
also, I bought all these myself (no sponsors or any of that stuff) so my opinions are 100% unbiased.
My favorite korean make-up brand at the moment is Etude House!
My skin tone is really pale so I only buy the lighter shades of concealer/bb cream. Also, english is not my first language so forgive any typos... u-u ]

Ok.. now that I'm done with that.. I'll start the review ^^

Since it's summer (at least where I live) I've been using this bb cream since it has a high SPF and it's meant to be used in summer...

Precious Mineral Sun BB cream

What it says on the box...

-SPF 50+ (I wish all bb creams had SPF as high as this one)
-PA+++
-Whitening & anti wrinkle
-Anti darkening
-Long lasting and waterproof
-"Cool Fix"

I bought the lightest shade, there are 3 shades, so if this one is a little too light for you, you can try those :)

This bb cream is not too thick but not runny either, I find it easy to spread  (using a brush or fingers)
it has a pink undertone, and no shimmer. It has a powder finish and it has a subtle sweet smell that I really like :) (if you're not a fragrance fan..you won't smell it once applied so it's ok)

How it looks spread on my hand (it looks really light but once it oxidizes it matches my skin tone)

Something special about this bb cream is that it comes with a sponge applicator :D! (if it gets too dirty, you can buy another one on ebay :) )

You can take the sponge out easily!

Overall: I think it's a nice BB cream, it lasts for 4-6 hours and protects from the sun :) I don't know what they mean with "cool fix" so I really don't know what to say about that...
About the "waterproof-ness" well.. I don't know.. since I retouch often, I don't really rely on this feature too much... ಠwಠ

I recommend this bb cream if you want medium coverage and a natural looking face, since it has mineral components, it has a powder finish, so if you like matte finish bb creams you'll like it :)

Pros:
-The sponge applicator can be really practical if you want to take the bb cream with you and do touch-ups on the go
-Long lasting!
-It gives a natural finish (not cakey!)
-High SPF!
-Comes in more than one shade

Contras:
-The bottle is really small...only 35g...

Should you buy it ♥?

I don't regret buying it so.. yeah :D go for it! you can always buy samples if you're not sure too :)
